一场未知终点的旅行

来历不明的蓝衣女子，匆匆穿过旧上海滩灯红酒绿的街，光线有些迷离，氛围开始诡异。黑洞一般的女声缓缓注入耳膜，柔软，宽广，温润，高贵，如一匹暗红的绸缎缓缓飘落，风起处拂起尘埃，熨帖地缓缓飘落在听歌人的身上。从烈日下的印度农场，折射到魍魉般的古国街道，穿行过数百万光年的路程，又返回到飘渺的姻缘约定，隐藏着有关出生、死去、前生、来世的谜底。拨开浮华，犹如拨开奶茶上浮着的一层泡沫，清澈醇香的亚洲文化积淀杯底。

在藏语中，JOMO是“女神”的意思。来自芝加哥的电子音乐家Luddy在2003年遇到上海女孩潘络绎。这位有着深厚古典音乐基础和20年爵士乐求学经历的美国音乐家认定自己终于找到了合适自己音乐的那个声音，他为这上海女孩的声音深深着迷，从此二人决定共同苦心经营一个组合——JOMO。

Luddy拥有文学、数学、电学、计算机博士学位，曾经是美国的著名学者。在JOMO，他负责乐队作品的词曲创作、器乐编配，尤其擅长以高科技手段打造迷离而深邃的音乐空间。潘络绎组成JOMO组合之前是一位活跃于国内外表演艺术圈的音乐人，在新加坡、马来西亚乐坛亦颇有名气。除了无穷无尽的创意，她还有一把温软如缎的好嗓子，深厚的古典音乐幼功使她的演唱脱俗于流行歌手的行列。

如此的两个人的相遇，注定了JOMO的音乐兼具古典音乐之美轮美奂与现代电子音乐之炫目迷离，他们以极具人文关怀的态度，将亚洲古老而神秘的文化渗透到摩登的音乐元素中，用实验的态度把音乐带到另类的世界里，促成人性与虚拟空间的结合、古老文明和现代技术的结合。他们的音乐记录了超越时间和空间的人文故事，掀开了亚洲音乐崭新的一页。
